Please see the weekly assignments for notes and dates for this week. Fourth graders have prayers to memorize this year.  We will practice saying them in class, but students may need to do additional practice at home.

 ACT OF FAITH

O my God, I firmly believe that you are one God in three divine Persons,                      Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.                                                                                                                I believe that your divine Son became man, and died for our sins,                                              and that he will come to judge the living and the dead.                                                                I believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches,                              because you have revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived. Amen.

 ACT OF HOPE

O my God, relying on your almighty power and infinite mercy and promises,                          I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of your grace,                                                        and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ,                                                            my Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

ACT Of LOVE

O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because you are all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbor as myself, for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me, and I ask pardon of all whom I have injured.  Amen.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, And kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created. And you will renew the face of the Earth. Let us pray: O God, You have taught the hearts of the faithful, by the light of the Holy Spirit. Grant us, in the same Spirit, to have a taste for what is right, and to rejoice always in His consolation. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,1 that never was it known 1that anyone who fled to thy protection, 1 implored thy help,  1or sought thy intercession, 1was left unaided. 1 Inspired by this confidence 1 I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. 1 To thee do I come, 1 before thee I stand, 1sinful and sorrowful. 1 O Mother of the Word Incarnate,1despise not my petitions, 1 but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.  Amen.
